Iditarod 2011

Here is a nice video of Aliy Zirkle near Nikolai on the 2011 Iditarod. She is having an excellent run this year. At the moment, she is resting her team at Shaktoolik before going out on the sea ice protion of the route. This is often the defining moment for dog teams as they have to deal with the totally different environment of the sea ice.
